Destroy your Muffit was an act the Cylons commonly practiced. It involved killing innocent dag-nabbits and making coats out of their fur. This practice, however, came to a halt when the Cylons received a considerable amount of outrage from PETA, thus why you never see the act in the new Battlestar Galactica. That and Ronald D. Moore is obviously a hippie, as seen by his long hair and lack of bathing.
